Sorry to make you guys suffer with more non-stats related posts. Having just gotten married, I found the idea of a wedding registry at the 99 cent store to be very funny.

Actually this is a rerun. The LA oldtimers will remember the 99 cent stores ran these ads during the 90-91 downturn as well.

At least they keep their humor. I bet they hope for a Leno quote (free advertising). I think this was done *just* too early to be seen as funny by the J6P crowd. So another rerun in a few months would pay off for 99cent stores.

I hope this is a joke in two years. ;)
